Hey folks! Other-M #30 is now out. This signals the end of Act II - meaning soon we'll be starting the Other-M Specials, each containing 40 pages. Hopefully we'll be able to maintain this schedual. ;P Also, it has been brought to my attention that there are a few scattered broken links about. I'm working on it! Take care!
December 2004
Yep, another December update. Due to the recent delays and the relative shortness of the last issue, I'm being nice and giving you Other-M #29 early! Remember, feedback is always appreciated! Happy New Year, and take care!
December 2004
Happy Holidays, folks! Despite a slight delay due to the general busyness of the time, I bring you Other-M #28! I'd also like to encourage you all to leave feedback at the forum, as everyone works hard on their own free time to bring you each new issue. And no, I'm not just saying that because I did this month's cover. ;P If you like, you can email your comments and they'll be passed along. Thank you, enjoy the new issue, and take care!

Ian says: Hey folks! It's been awhile since the last update, but here is Other-M #27 at long last. The website
has gotten a sprucing up and, frankly, I think it's far superior. The links to Sonic::Eterinty now open in a new window rather
than the dinky side-bar and the Flash site is spiffier. Now, as mentioned on the forum, this update also sees a changing
in management.
I've been on this book for around five years. I've worked with dozens of people from all over the world. Outside of the
update schedual, I might even go so far as to say I set the bar for other Sonic fan-comics to meet. Either way, it's been phenominal
writing and seeing this come into being. I really hate to leave it before I can see it to the very end, but it can't be helped.
Why? I can't say yet, I'm afraid. When I can, I will. That's a promise.
So what does this mean for Other-M? No worries, kids. I finished writing Other-M back in 2003, so that aspect was nailed down
long ago. All that needs to be done now is for the scripts to be drawn. Here's how things stand:
- Other-M #28 is nearly complete
- Other-M #29 is complete
- Other-M #30 is complete
- Other-M Special #1 has 75% of its artists accounted for.
So what about the rest, you ask? Those will be managed by the lovely and talented Kureejii Lea, perhaps the greatest Other-M
fan ever. She has been an amazing friend and has helped with Other-M through the years, and I feel very confident leaving
Other-M's last year in her hands.
So that's it from me. I'll be watching from the side-lines, of course, but I'm done with Other-M. It's been fantastic, and
you've all made me feel like I've really accomplished something here. Enjoy Other-M's final year. I know I will.
And now, our new hostess . . .
Kureejii Lea says: Hola, folks. As Ian said, I'll be taking things over from here on - oh, don't look so worried.
I've been following Other-M from the beginning (and have even done some behind-the-scenes work in the past) and I've gotta
say, cheesy as it may sound, it's really an honour to work on a project that's impressive on so many levels. I'll try to keep
things running smoothly as Other-M continues towards its finale, and I'm sure you'll enjoy the rest of the trip.
If you need to get in touch with me with anything concering Other-M, please either go to the
forum or email me at kureejii_lea@yahoo.com.
Take care!
